Sunday to Saturday… Daily Devotionals and Reflections

Be vulnerable in your Father’s presence. Be real and truthful. He knows what you are going through but he wants us to be willing to cry out and call on him to assist us and do what we can’t. Be bold to come to your heavenly Father (Hebrews 4:16). Have raw conversations that are uncomfortable to get to the breakthrough (2 Samuel 5:20). Be hopeful and expectant in your God. Live joyfully in the strength of your God (Nehemiah 8:10). Know that he loves you and sings over you. He can’t wait for you to speak with him everyday for he knows all your days (Psalm 139:16) and he wants to guide your steps if you so let him. Be willing to be embraced by the Father’s love today and everyday of your life (1 John 4:16)!

Sunday: Psalm 51:17 ESV “The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise.” Reflection: When you are broken do you make your comfort place found in God the Father?

Monday: Psalm 139: 23-24 ESV “Search me, O God, and know my heart! Try me and know my thoughts! And see if there be any grievous way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting!” Reflection: Are you asking God questions & giving him access to all of you in his presence?

Tuesday: Psalm 57:2 ESV “I cry out to God Most High, to God who fulfills his purpose for me.” Reflection: Are you crying out to God who fulfills his purpose for you?

Wednesday: Psalm 18:16 ESV “In my distress I called upon the Lord; to my God I cried for help. From his temple he heard my voice, and my cry to him reached his ears.” Reflection:Have you called out to the Lord in distress as well as in the high moments of life?

Thursday: Psalm 71:14 ESV “But I will hope continually and will praise you yet more and more.” Reflection: Are you continually in hope and praising him even more with expectation?

Friday: Psalm 16:11 ESV “You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore.” Reflection:Are you allowing God to make known to you what your life holds? Are you receiving joy daily in his presence? Diving into the pleasures found in Him constantly?

Saturday: Zephaniah 3:17 ESV “The Lord your God is in your midst, a mighty one who will save; he will rejoice over you with gladness; he will quiet you by his love; he will exult over you with loud singing.” Reflection: Are you permitting God in your midst? The one who saves and rejoices over you, loves you and sings over you?
