Patience is needed for your journey with God. He gave us the Holy Spirit through His Son Jesus Christ to help guide us according to the word. God doesn't want us to do life alone. He wants to be involved in our day to day and everything that's needed and desired. We are to do life with our Heavenly Father. We are to listen, learn and live it out with Him. Jesus came so we may know the Father and if we truly are His children we will grow to enjoy spending time with Him and fellowship. Our Relationship with God is important. We are to be rooted in Christ for He is our source of life and away from Him we are nothing and have nothing. Nothing is ever in vain with God rooted in godly truth and right thinking. Be patient as God grows you into He wants you to be!
Sunday: James 5:8 ESV
“You also, be patient. Establish your hearts, for the coming of the Lord is at hand. ”
Reflection: Are you being patient? Are you establishing your hearts unto your God?
Monday: Galatians 5:22-23 ESV
“22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law. ”
Reflection: Are you allowing the Holy Spirit develop patience and the other fruits of the Spirit?
Tuesday: Leviticus 26:12 ESV
“And I will walk among you and will be your God, and you shall be my people. ”
Reflection:Are you being God’s people? Walking with Him?
Wednesday: 1 John 1:3 ESV
“That which we have seen and heard we proclaim also to you, so that you too may have fellowship with us; and indeed our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son Jesus Christ. ”
Reflection: Are you fellowshiping with the right group of people who fellowship with the One True living God? Are you FEllowshiping with God is His word to know for certain?
Thursday: John 14:7 ESV
“7 If you really know me, you will know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him.”
Reflection: Do you really know Jesus? If so you will know the Father & have seen Him.
Friday: John 15:5 ESV
“I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing. ”
Reflection: Are you deeply rooted in the vine of Jesus, abiding in Him? Are you bearing good fruit?
Saturday: Ephesians 4:13 ESV
“Until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ, ”
Reflection: Are you attaining the unity of the faith and the knowledge of the Son of God? Are you growing in maturity in manhood to reach the stature of the fullness of Christ?
